Rihanna has had quite the roller coaster of a career. Going from Pon De Replay on replay to making us feel Wild Thoughts. We have seen her really grow into a power house, bad ass woman. This era of Rihanna has become my favorite. She has always been the Princess of Giving Zero Fucks and we have been here for it!  But now she REALLY is just doing things her way and not apologizing for it.

We need more females who aren’t afraid to be a full woman. It is no secret that Rihanna has gone though a lot of shit in her life, we have seen it played out in the tabloids and she has come out on the other side stronger than ever.

This week she has added another bullet point on her ever growing resume:  Makeup Mogul. Fenty Beauty has finally launched.

It has already made a name for itself and it’s only been officially out for less than 24 hours.  First thing to note is her incredibly diverse marketing campaign:

Women of all different walks of life are represented. See Beauty world? It’s not that HARD to include EVERY TYPE OF WOMAN in your campaign.  REPRESENTATION MATTERS YA’LL! From her marketing alone, it is enough to make me want to support her brand.  Her mission?

“FENTY BEAUTY WAS CREATED FOR EVERYONE: FOR WOMEN OF ALL SHADES, PERSONALITIES, ATTITUDES, CULTURES, AND RACES. I WANTED EVERYONE TO FEEL INCLUDED. THAT’S THE REAL REASON I MADE THIS LINE.”

Rihanna wants to create a new generation of beauty and she has come though with just that.  The foundation comes in 40 different shades. About 20 different highlight shades–so you can shine bright like a diamond. Her Gloss Bomb lip gloss is a shade that suits everyone. Incredible.

Along with the make up itself, she has developed her own line of brushes and other tools to apply this flawless line.  Prices seem to be reasonable (ranging from $20 – $40) for a high end line. To be honest, makeup is an investment. Yes, the drug-store buys are just as good (sometimes better) but there are times you need to splurge to get the right formulas for your skin type.

On their website, FentyBeauty.com, they include flagged products that are Rihanna’s favorites as well as tips, steps and inspiration on how to mix and match her products to create flawless looks.

This line is so important in opening the world of make up to include EVERYONE. Which is something that has, for reasons unknown, been hard to achieve.  This will be revolutionary to the beauty world, it is already iconic. I am anxiously waiting to see how this line will grow, I have a feeling this is only the beginning.
